Aspasia Kambourakis's Story

I started seeing doctor Capeci about 3 years ago. I would go every 4-6 months and get cortisone shots into my knees. Both of my knees were bone on bone. I was too afraid to get knee replacement surgery because I always heard horror stories from other people. Some of my friends had knee replacement surgery with other surgeons and never felt the same. Their knees were swollen and stiff even after having knee replacements. Last year my knees were at their worst. It came to the point that I could not walk to the corner.
